This home movie, filmed by an unknown Galveston family, captures scenes of life on the island. While much of the reel is of the family and children, footage also includes construction of a home and building the docks and boat shelters in the harbor near Fort Point. These films are part of the collection courtesy of native Galvestonian and current Austin resident Richard Eisenhour, who discovered and bought them on Ebay in 2011. The family in the film and the person who shot the footage are unknown, but they are mainly shot in-and-around Galveston.
