Presented by the Anti-Defamation League of B'Nai B'Rith, this film uses historic overview and a lively panel discussion to expose the challenges faced by the Mexican-American community in the late 1960s. Host and narrator Dr. Ernesto Galarza explains the economic and social conditions of many Mexican-Americans and then turns the conversation over to representatives of several groups advocating for Mexican-American equality. Though some of the films content may seem dated, it remains an important and interesting snapshot of a time period; in particular this footage includes content from several demonstrations and rallies, including images of Cesar Chavez.
