This 1951 home movie captures the city of Sugar Land overwhelmed by icicles and snow after an unusual winter storm on January 31. Telephone cables sag down to the snowy ground, lawns shine with cold frost, and every branch in sight sits in an icicle case. The footage reveals some shots of the Imperial Sugar factory, including the iconic char house.
