This home movie captures a rare snowfall in Beaumont on January 11 and 12, 1973. According to the National Weather Service, Beaumont saw three inches of snow—the first measurable snowfall in the area in 13 years. The Parish family walk through snowfall with their St. Bernard, Pumpkin, much to the dog’s delight. The footage also includes scenes with bright red cardinal birds surrounding a feeder and a snowball fight between several children.
