This 1961 home movie captures a family trip to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Taken just six years after the park opened, the footage serves as a perfect time capsule of past attractions. Several shown here are no longer in operation, including Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer Island and a Chicken of the Sea-branded pirate ship in Fantasyland. The family can be seen in a large variety of activities, from taking in the sights of the Jungle Cruise at Adventureland to being submerged underwater for the Submarine Voyage, in a boat replica of an original US Navy submarine.
