In this unedited interview for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires sits down with producer Gale Anne Hurd to talk about her new film, Aliens (1986), starring Sigourney Weaver. The film received seven Academy Award nominations, including one for Weaver for Best Actress. In the interview, Hurd discusses the difficulty of making a sequel and her working partnership with James Cameron, her husband at the time. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
