This 1980s promotional film divides Texas into six regions—Central Corridor, Metroplex, East Texas, Gulf Coast, Plains, and Border—to illustrate the diversity of landscape and business the “Silicone Prairie” affords. After introducing the primary industries of each region, the film features an interview with a businessman from the area. All commend the state as a place for business.
