This home movie captures the 1976 Smithville Jamboree. To coincide with the bicentennial, marking the 200th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the celebrations take on a patriotic flair. The festivities begin at a Missouri-Texas-Kansas rail cart and then continue to a pig pen. The highlight includes a parade down Main Street, featuring a marching band, drum line, and decorated floats.
