This 1970 home movie captures the Kennedy family at the Foley’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Houston. The footage shows not only the variety of floats and marching bands at the parade but also many of the buildings downtown, such as the then-unfinished One Shell Plaza. Construction on the tower finished the following year, at which time it became the tallest building in Houston.
