This film, narrated by Dave Naugle, surveys the workings of Tarrant County government offices and the services they provide for the population. It begins by covering some of the responsibilities of the Tarrant County Commissioners Court, from establishing welfare programs to funding highway developments. Facilities funded by Tarrant County tax dollars are also highlighted, such as Petersmith Hospital and the Tarrant County Convention Center. Next, the film details the role of law enforcement and emergency personnel. Finally, the films reviews the immense amount of record keeping and data processing conducted by the county, including birth and death certificates, marriage licenses, voter registrations, and court documents.
