In this unedited interview for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires sits down with actress Glenn Close to talk about her latest film, Dangerous Liaisons (1988), also starring John Malkovich and Michelle Pfeiffer. The film received seven Academy Award nominations, winning three. Close was nominated for Best Actress (her fourth in six years). In the interview, Close discusses how her critical success has and has not changed her view of herself as an actor. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
