In this unedited interview for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires sits down with actor Carl Weathers to talk about his latest film, Action Jackson (1988), also starring Craig T. Nelson and Sharon Stone. In the interview, Weathers comments on the significance of his role in the Rocky franchise and his lifelong goals as an entertainer. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
