In this unedited interview for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires sits down with actress Glenn Close to talk about her latest film, Fatal Attraction (1987), also starring Michael Douglas. The film received six Academy Award nominations, including one for Best Picture. Close was also nominated for Best Actress. In the interview, Close discusses what attracted her to the role and how she crafted the character. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
