In these three edited segments from Good Morning Austin broadcasts for Austin’s KVUE-TV, Roy Faires interviews actor/comedian Joe Piscopo and reviews the latest movies. The first segment consists of his interview with Piscopo, in which Faires asks the actor about his role in Dead Heat (1988). In the second segment, Faires reviews two films: Shakedown (1988) and Dead Heat. He rates the first the best cops-and-robbers film in 25 years, while the second receives zero out of four stars. And in the last segment, Faires reviews Willow (1988), which for him does not live up to the hype. Faires worked as a special project director and entertainment critic/reporter at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, from 1976-1989.
