This newsreel reports on Miss Wool of America 1965, Sharon Moline, and her trip to New York City as part of her tour of the nation following her winning the pageant. During her two-week stay, Moline visits the Waldorf Astoria, shares a drink at Top of the Sixes, models wool outfits for a photo shoot at the Cloisters, attends an event aboard the SS Statendam, and dines and dances at the Waldorf Astoria discotheque. The Miss Wool of America Pageant took place annually from 1952-1972 in San Angelo, sponsored by the National Wool Growers Association, the American Sheep Producers Council, and the Wool Bureau, Inc. Miss Wool represented the wool industry nationally, touring the country in the latest woolen fashions.
