This film from the Miss Wool Collection is the complete telecast of the Miss Wool of America Pageant of 1967, which crowned Alanna Crimmins of Oklahoma. The Miss Wool of America Pageant took place annually from 1952-1972 in San Angelo, sponsored by the National Wool Growers Association, the American Sheep Producers Council, and the Wool Bureau, Inc. Miss Wool represented the wool industry nationally, touring the country in the latest woolen fashions. The 1967 pageant was hosted by song and dance movie star Donald O’Connor and also starred pop singer Jane Morgan. Fashion designer Jo Copeland was included among the judges.
