These outtakes from an amateur documentary made by Ouida Whitaker Dean, “Women in Agriculture,” feature interviews with female students taking the Timpson High School agriculture class, which had just been opened to women that year. They imagine a day when women can teach agriculture class, discuss balancing work and family, share what their families think of women in agriculture, and consider how farm work affects their ideas of femininity.
