This documentary, “Home on the Rio”, profiles the contemporary music scene in El Paso, Texas. The film gives a brief history of the bicultural city’s musicians, then examines the current music scene through interviews with many musicians and clips of their performances. Musicians featured include La Perla y Mariachi, Applejack, Mike Francis Quintet, Malena Cano, Doug Neal, Dalton Powell, Gerald Hunter, Riversong with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra, and many others!
