This footage, taped by Dallas director Jim Ruddy for “Entertainment Tonight”, contains a behind the scenes look at the production of a commercial for Reebok, the sports equipment company. Produced as part of Reebok’s multi-million dollar advertising campaign for the 1996 Summer Olympics, the commercial featured Orlando Magic center Shaquille O’Neal (as “Kazaam,” the wish-granting genie from the 1996 film of the same name) and Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith. In this interview, O’Neal and Smith sit down with Ruddy to discuss the Olympic Games, their friendship, and their days in college.
