This footage, taped by Director Jim Ruddy for “Entertainment Tonight”, captures scenes of the Dixie Chicks in their original lineup playing at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, Texas on May 1, 1992 for the release party of their album, “Little Ol’ Cowgirl”. Original band members Martie Erwin, Emily Erwin, Laura Lynch, and Robin Lynn Macy play bluegrass and country songs for an enthusiastic audience. In this clip, the Texas band plays their title track, “Little Ol’ Cowgirl” and Rose Maddox’s country classic, “The Big Ball’s in Cowtown.” Martie Erwin can be seen on the fiddle, Emily Erwin on the banjo, Lynch on upright bass and lead vocals, and Macy on guitar and lead vocals.
