This home movie captures scenes of the Amherst High School track team practice and the Kelly family at home, followed by images of the Plant X power plant in Earth, Texas. Plant X is a steam-electric plant that opened in 1952 and is still in operation today. Before the location for the power plant was selected, the planning team referred to it as “Plant X,” and the name stuck.
