Itinerant Films

Popular in the first half of the 20th century, itinerant films were produced by traveling filmmakers that moved from town to town making movies using local people as the cast and incorporating local landmarks into the film.  Some had little narrative structure while others mimicked popular Hollywood features of the time period.
