This home movie of the Howdy Roo Chili Cookoff, held in Marble Falls captures some of the more interesting t-shirts at the event, and a variety of activities, including carnival rides, paddle boats, and of course drinking and eating chili. The tail end of the video leaves Marble Falls and shows short clips of several oil drills. The Frick Collection was donated to TAMI by John Frick and includes home movies of family Christmases, camping trips, and outings in Houston, as well as trips to local Texas events, including the Belton Parade, Howdy Roo Chili Cookoff, Mosquito Festival, Texas Renaissance Fair, Montgomery County Cookoff, Texas Girl Chili Cookoff, and the Westheimer Art Festival.
