This home movie from the Arch Campbell collection documents a rare snowy day in San Antonio. On January 30, 1949, 4.7 inches of snow fell on the city - highly unusual for South Texas. The film captures members of the Campbell family having a snowball fight and building a snowman outside of their home, located at 2444 West Cincinnati Street, near St. Mary's University.
