The new Texas demands technically skilled laborers to meet the growing demands of industry and business. Built on a deactivated air force base purchased from the federal government, and established as part of the Texas A & M system, James Connally Technical Institute strives to meet these needs. This promotional film for the school, which later became Texas State Technical College, presents the history of the school and its founding mission, and details the numerous state of the art programs and amenities available on campus.
