Mess with Texas Screens at Dallas Videofest

The Dallas Videofest screens “Mess with Texas” on Sunday, September 30th at 4:45 p.m. at the Dallas Museum of Art (1717 North Harwood Street, Dallas (map).  

Commissioned for the Contemporary Arts museum Houston’s Perspectives 178: CINEPLEX, the program features new works by Texas-based film/video artists Kelly Sears, Mark and Angela Walley, Scott Stark, Alec Jhangiani, and Alex Luster that incorporate footage from The Texas Archive of the Moving Image’s vast collection of movies, newsreels, and homemade films. “Mess with Texas” is presented by TAMI, CAMH, and the Aurora Picture Show.
