February has been an eventful month at the Texas Archive of the Moving Image!   We’ve received national press attention for the Melton Barker Collection and collected films for the Texas Film Round-Up free digitization program in Longview and Marshall.

Melton Barker was featured in the the New York Times and on WNYC’s On the Media, broadcast on over 300 public radio stations in the United States. The Edmond Sun ran a story about Barker’s Oklahoma exploits. Barker was featured in a number of blogs and websites throughout the month including:
