Imitating an episode of the popular 1960s - 1970s television program, "Mission Impossible," this educational video, "Mission Possible: Bike Safety," was used to teach children bicycle safety. A group of cautious children are charged with the mission of teaching two flippant boys, Dirty Larry and Careless Carol, the ins and outs of bicycle maintenance, traffic signs and signals, hand signals for bike riders, and bicycle laws before they hurt themselves or others. This film was produced and directed by J. Larry Carroll, who went on to write for television programs such as "Dennis the Menace," "Ghostbusters," "G.I. Joe," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," and "Diagnosis Murder."
