In 1965, under the guidance of Texas A&M University, James Connally Air Force Base in Waco, Texas, was transformed into James Connally Technical Institute, which would later became Texas State Technical Institute and finally Texas State Technical College. This early promotional film outlines the diversity of programs available for study, and highlights the excellent academic and recreational facilities provided on campus. Points of interest include an introduction to the school by General James Earl Rudder, President of Texas A&M University, and a description of the curriculum by Dr. Roy Dugger, Director of James Connally Technical Institute and Vice President of Texas A&M University.
