INTERNSHIPS

TAMI occasionally needs interns to assist us at our Austin office with a variety of tasks. Some positions require knowledge of film handling, archival practices, and/or research and writing skills. Other positions require no specific experience, but attention to detail is a must. The hours are negotiable, Monday through Friday. If you are interested, please send a brief statement of interest and related experience to contact info@texasarchive.org or 512-485-3073.

TAMI TAGGING
Tagging means identifying people, places and events in the videos – yours or anyone else’s – telling us when or where something happenedor sharing anecdotes about what is taking place. TAMI tags link your knowledge to an exact place in the video and help all subsequent viewers search the website. To become a TAMI tagger, click on TAMI Tagging under the online video. A box will appear for your descriptive information. Use the Mark Video Segment feature by clicking on Begin and End to indicate the section you are describing. Finish by clicking the Tag button. Because Tags and Comments are moderated, they will not appear immediately, but TAMI will add your input soon.

CONTRIBUTE YOUR FILMS
Do you have Texas-related films? Contribute a digital copy of your films to TAMI and help provide access to moving images representing the people, culture and history of the state. Click here for more information about our free digitization program or email info@texasarchive.org.
