This home movie captures various family events and outings throughout 1956 and 1957. Beginning in Disneyland, the footage shows a Dallas family enjoying the Casey Jr. Circus Train and other park attractions. The family then travels to Washington, D.C., for a military parade, showcasing the United States Army Band and the United States Air Force. President Dwight D. Eisenhower and Vice President Richard Nixon lead the festivities. The film then follows the family back to their home in Dallas, where they celebrate Easter, Christmas, and children’s birthdays. The family then takes a vacation to Mexico City, Mexico. They enjoy views of volcano Popocatepetl, swim in a resort pool, and visit the city’s primary railway terminal, Ferrovalle. The film ends with the family spending the day together at the beach.
