This 1950s home movie captures members of the Sweet Home Baptist Church participating in a river baptism. The pastor baptizes three parishioners, following the Baptist tradition of total immersion. Later, the congregation gathers at the church for service, with the church choir performing on the chapel steps. Established in 1905, the Sweet Home Baptist Church is a historically black church located in Round Rock.
