This theatrical trailer is for the feature film Brewster McCloud, directed by Robert Altman in 1970 and starring Bud Cort, Shelley Duvall, and Sally Kellerman. Brewster McCloud was shot on location in Houston and was the first film shot inside the Astrodome. Bud Cort plays the titular character, Brewster McCloud, a young introvert who lives hidden in the Astrodome where he is working to build a pair of wings to realize his dream of flight. Sally Kellerman plays Brewster’s “fairy godmother” who is helping him in his journey to fly, and Shelly Duvall plays his love interest. The Astrodome, the Houston Police Department, and the Houston skyline are all featured prominently in the film.
