This 1973 home movie captures a couples trip to Hawaii. The Johnsons visit many of the top attractions on Oahu, beginning with a boat ride around Pearl Harbor. Next, they see the Parade of Flowers during Aloha Week. Now known as Aloha Festivals, the event is the largest celebration of Hawaiian culture in the United States. Then, the Johnsons tour the city, with stops at the Hawaii State Capitol and Aliʻiolani Hale. Later, they also visit Laie Hawaii Temple, the Dole Plantation, and the Mission Houses Museum. Finally, the Johnsons explore the Polynesian Cultural Center, where they watch the parade of canoes.
