This government film explains EPIC, the El Paso Intelligence Center, that houses an extensive database system that compiles and analyzes data from multiple government agencies to fight the War on Drugs and War on Crime. Records and new intelligence from Drug Enforcement Agency, Border Patrol, Maturalization and Immigration Service, Coast Guard, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Customs Service are compiled and cross-referenced to aid all agencies in targeting ongoing crimes. The film explains that EPIC “is an enormously important and easy to use weapon, an indispensable resource.”
