San Antonio’s “Manager’s Report” is a local access program that gives citizens updates on their city government initiatives from the city manager. In this episode host T.J. Connolly and the Assistant to the City Manager, Travis Bishop, speak with Kathy Rhoads, the Film Development Manager at the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Frank Fischer, a producer for the television series, “Heaven Help Us,” about the series’ filming in San Antonio. Later, the city manager come out to talk about various city projects, including new affordable housing developments and charitable work with the United Way. Also included are an array of PSAs that aired during the program, notably Hispanic celebrities appealing to Hispanic voters and NBA players from the San Antonio Spurs speaking out on various issues.
